HID's Light Up The Night For Local E34 M5 Owner's

With the BMW factory lighting being less than adequate for many BMW owners, many of us have decided to upgrade to HID's. The pic's on this page will give you a realistic sense of the coloration differences between the stage I and stage II HID options. When I decided to upgrade to HID's there were no choices as only the stage I optiion was available. Dave Glen opted for the stage II kit for his HID upgrade since he then had a choice between the two. As you can see in the pic's below, the stage II's are considerably more blue/purple in color when compared side by siide with the stage I's. There is a slight loss in intensity or brightness with the stage II's as the stage I's do visibly produce some additional light. However this is minimal as both offer an incredible increase in your field of vision when driving at night. This is especially true when driving on darker unlit stretches of road.
